On the Losing Thread

Yesterday was the second day of tournament for my son, again they loss out to their opponent.
Knew he was very sad, but didn't know how to console him.

He was telling me that he is intending to give up hence give him a long lecture.
As a sportman, we have to be able to withstand downfall. Then should try harder next time.

My son, I should say is really good in sport. He can play soccer very well and now playing basketball. And his wushu, I should say is also not bad compare to some of his team mates.

But, as I say he should not give up easily cause he has great potential in sport.
"Son don't give up that easily but practice harder for the next time."

First Time Failure

Yesterday was a real sad day, it was the frst time my son lost his basketball match.
They have two more match to go and for them to make it to the next round, they have to win their remaining match.

Good Luck to him, though they lost their match but they really did well thinking that they just form their team this year and they managed to go this far.

Movie Show - Mr Bean's Holiday

Time really past fast, don't know when was my last trip to the cinema for movie.

Yesterday, brought the whole families for a show on Mr Bean's Holiday.

My son had been waiting for me to bring him to the show ever since the movie starts showing.

As ususal, Mr Bean was always so fuuny. This movie was about him going on a holiday, and during the trip he met lots of mishap. But in the end he still manage to get to his destination.

Inter Primary School Wushu

Understand that the Inter Primary School Wushu Competition was held last week.

Is quite sad for my son as he didn't take part in it. He was very keen in it but did not know the way to partipate as his school doesn't have wushu as their CCA.

Sometimes, I don't quite understand how the coaches view their performance. They have a grading test after their course, but he usually don't get so good a grade though I have been sitting around to see him practice every week, I can see that most of his team mates were not performing as well as him but they can score a better grade than him.

Hence, he is quite depressed on the matter. Therefore, I have to give him encouragement on and off to keep him going.

Tired But Happy

Yesterday was the final game for the first round of tournament. Wonderful play by both team, Holy Innocent vs Kranji Primary. The score line was so closed - 42 by 40. What a narrow win for my son school.

They now shall proceed to the next round of game. Good Luck Boys. All he Best, mum always support you all.

My poor boy was so tired but happy for the result.

Whenever there was a game, I would also feel so uneasy during my office hours, wondering whether did my boy make it to the next round.

I think all parents are like that.

Their match was against Pei Chin Primary, though did not know the opponent strength but had fate in my son and his gang. They managed to beat their opponent again.

Thank God for giving me such a wonder news.

Into the National Level

While today is the start of he next round of tournament for my son. His school has entered into the National Level Junior Boy Basket Ball Tournament.

Their opponent was Mahabodi Primary School.

Great teamwork or my boy, they managed to beat their opponent.

They next game wil be playing against Pei Chin Primary School.

Good Luck to them.

Temple Visiting

After a long wait, finally it was our turn to the temple for "Bao Yun".

We reached the temple about nine plus in the morning. Then proceed to get our number queue.

Our nos. are 343, 344, 345 & 346. With these nos., our turn would be around noon time.

While waiting, I took a few pictures for my son.

Planning to Australia During September Holiday

Have not update my blog for quite sometimes. While we are now planning to go to Darwin in Australia during the September School Holiday.

Have already book the air tickets through Tiger Airway. But have not book for the accomendation.

Night in the Wonderland

As promise to the kids that I would bring them to the Euro Wonderland at Hougang Central.

The entrance fee was $2.oo per person. Only kid below 10 is free of charge, but the rides inside were very expensive.

All in all, we spent about $100.00 on the rides for the kids and also the games.

This is the only ride that Amos & Angeline ride together. After this ride, they both seated separated ride cause some rides are not suitable for Angeline to sit.

While Amos went to sit the X-Coaster, I bought mei to sit another
rided.

North Zone Junior Boys Basketball Final

Finally, the conitnual of the North Zone Junior Boys Basketball Final had arrived after a long wait.

Due to raining, the game for the junior boy was postpone to this day. My son and all his teammate were very excited as they left only 15 minutes to decide for the winner.


As the game was in the morning during their school hours, there were not much supporters from their rival school. While for their school, those classes that were having their PE lesson were brought to support them.

Final was between Holy Innocent Primary and Woodland Primary.

Once, the game started, our hearts pound very hard till the final whislte from the refree.

Look, we were crazy parents that went to support them. Their score were so close that my heart nearly drop off. However, my son school managed to exellent as they had a very tall player who could deliver very well. Thanks to him.

Day Two of Birthday Celebration

This is the actual day of my son birthday. Yet another lunch treat for him. We went to White Sand Shopping Mall at Pasir Ris to have his present for an exchange as the Basket ball Shoes that his uncle and aunt bought for him was too small.

Hahaha, the shirt he was wearing was also a present from them. With his name printed on.

Son Birthday Celebration

Wah, Amos Birthday fall on Saturday and Sunday this year. As his lunar birthday is on the 7th day of Chinese New Year, which is so called everyone birthday for Lunar Calendar. We bought him to his favour dining place for lunch, Genki Sushi.

Wah, it was really a great dinner we had, it had been quite sometimes since we last had our dinner together in a family.

After the dinner, we went back to our eldest sister place to had the cake cut. As we knew that we would be very full after the dinner, hence we just bought a small cake for the Birthday Boy.

Chinese New Year 2007

After a long month of preparation for the new year, at last the Year of the Boar is coming.

As usual, after union dinner we were headed for Chinatown to get a feeling of the crowded and also the new year mood. The whole of Chinatown was full of people and stalls were doing their last minutes offer to clear their goods, while the shoppers were there to do the last minutes shopping to get a cheap price goods.

As for us, we were there to join the atmospere only, wahhaha. Tired yet enjoyable.
